I picked GHC because I believe they have a good business program like any other college would. I also like that GHC has a lot of financial aid which I could really take advantage of.
I plan to attend GHC for 2 years to get my AA and then transfer to a different college to get my Bachelors degree in Business Management, after that I would like to be in the process of starting my own business and work hard to make it become successful.

I only take one class there but my mom got her degree there so I was on campus a lot. I am also involved in the community band. Grays Harbor college is an extremely good college for our county. It allows people to get an education while not paying much money. It also provides it's students with many extracurricular activities like musical groups and theater. Not only does it provide opportunities for the students, it also allows the community to get involved.

I believe that Grays Harbor College is a great start to an academic career. However, it is not much more than a stepping stone. Housing prices in the area are not very affordable either, making moving to this college from afar seem inconceivable. Overall though, if you are here for the right reasons, you will find success.

I think that Grays Harbor is a very nice, calm, and welcoming environment. There are always lots of different activities to do throughout the year with anyone and everyone found at GHC. The age range is quite large, but it's still feels like a very tight knit community of people. Teachers care deeply about each of their student's grades and really want every student to succeed in their goals. GHC has lots of classes, but not very diverse - it's a bit limited in selection. But since GHC is in Aberdeen, Washington which is known for the forests and logging, they have a forestry and nursing bachelor's degrees.

I think that it's a pretty good college to go to. The campus is nice and it is all affordable. Another thing that is cool about it is that you have pretty much a 100% chance of getting in. And another thing that is cool is that since I am in running start this was a college that was available for me and I am able to get an associate's Degree in this college by the time I graduate high school which is next year-June 2024.

I have only been to grays harbor, but I think it’s great! The students all seem equal and the professors are very helpful. I was very impressed this year by how fast they figured out how they were going to handle this how pandemic. Although some professors had troubles with the switch to online classes everything worked out just fine.

I really enjoy going to this college as a running start student who is a senior in high school. I don't see very many issues, there are no dorms, small class sizes, available teachers, good food and many activities. The cafe has been closed for this quarter and the cafeteria was closed for two weeks which is a problem for students who are unable to get food around their schedules. I enjoy the teachers knowing most students by name, I often find it funny when a teacher notices that I have a twin sister that goes to this college too. I enjoy the art classes along with a positive learning environment.

I'm glad I went here. I've met so many new people and made friends through the classes I've taken. The professors are down to earth and understanding when it comes to situations, and they teach really well. GHC is a wonderful choice considering it's not a big college and is cheaper than many.

This is a place that cultivates success. There is a hub that offers all the tutoring that a student might possibly need. The staff is wonderful and always around to help those that need it. The campus itself is clean and well kept. It has an inviting cafeteria area as well as a comfortable lounge where students can congregate or spend alone time studying. The only negative aspect of it is the parking lot is set up goofy quite a hike to the classroom.

Great opportunity within the last four years for Aberdeen, WA to offer a BA program that will allow us the chance at better career options. The organizational management program is meant to satisfy a projected growth need for human resource management.

I really like the environment. The city GHC is in is small, so naturally the school is small. The class sizes are on average about 30 kids, so if you need help, you always get it. The campus is small and easy to navigate, and for the most part the professors are always open to meeting with you and helping. I am glad I started out at Grays Harbor College than somewhere else.

I think that the people there are super nice and great people to be around. The staff at the college are willing to help you in person and over the phone, in which they are super flexible. They are willing to work around your schedule and help you in any way that is best for you.

When you arrive at Grays Harbor, you are always blown away by the beauty of the campus. The building, facilities and the surroundings are so peaceful and pretty. In the 4000 science building, the lab rooms have huge windows that let in all the natural light and look over all of Aberdeen. On top of the campus being wonderful, all my classes have been 20-30 people and all my professors got to know me on a personal level; which really helped my grades and my experience here. I know its a community college and I am only here for 2 years, but it has been nothing but good here and I wouldn't want to attend any other college.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Grays Harbor College is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020, _____ students were offered admission.
What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
If i could give advice to myself back when I was a high school senior, I would definately have to emphasize on how much hard work it takes to be a college student. Yes, high school involved some hard work and a lot of time spent on assignments, but college is on another level. Attendance is one of the most important aspects of college, as you gain so much more from an in person lecture than from borrowing another students notes. I would also tell myself to make sure that education is one of my top priorites, as it is going to help me begin my career.
What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
The worst thins about GHC is lack of funding. Being a small school with a high drop out rate, and situated in a very impovrished area, the school often does not receive the funding it badly needs.
Describe how your school looks to someone who's never seen it.
Gray's Harbor college is an exceptional school, with highly educated teachers, small class sizes, accomadations for any and all students, and provides a wonderful learning atmosphere where one gets the help and support that is needed to reach educational goals.
There are a lot of things that I like about my school, but i would have to say that the best thing is either the super nice people that work and attend Grays Harbor College or the layout of the campus. The people make it a place that I want to go to everyday and I do not mind that i will also have to do school work when I get here. The campus makes it really easy to get to my classes, where it is pretty much impossible to be late.
What kind of person should not attend this school?
Someone shouldn't attend Grays Harbor College if they want a big college adventure. GHC is a small, quiet college, where most of the students graduated from the same small towns and have grown up together. Don't be fooled, though! GHC is still a fablous campus with many exciting options to offer.
Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!
There is a lot of time for interaction with the instructors at this school. If you have a question there is usaually someone who can answer it. I really didn't consider any other schools to get as far as my associate's degrees since this one is close to where I live. It is possible to get a good education in Gray's Harbor if you are a committed student.
What's the most frustrating thing about your school?
The most frustrating thing about my school is the distance it is from where i live. I takes me about an hour and half everyday just to get to school because i have to take the bus. Although the bus fair is free, it would still be nice if it did not take as long.
