John Brown University is a great religious school. I went there on one of my college days and it was absolutely amazing. The dorms are so pretty, the staff are nice, and the choir is amazing. It's also really safe on campus too. Going to JBU was an amazing experience.

Brinley

I love it here! Almost every person I have met is kind and accepting! We have great facilities and our staff is amazing. We have great involvement for sports. The girls housing is amazing. It is an amazing place to learn and grow both academically and spiritually.

Lilieen

Definitely for certain types of people, if you are active in your youth group and church culture then this is the place for you. They focus more on the arts program and business program than the STEM majors. The RAs are nice but some let the power get to their heads. Siloam Springs has some to offer but you are at least 45 minutes away from anything big.

Alisa

Great school! Small environment for growing together with other students, and the professors and staff are very nice and always available for school help, theological discussions, or just hanging out with students. The campus is beautiful and the academics are challenging, but students are encouraged to rest and also try new things.

Austin

It is a good school. There isn't really much to do other than school, and it is a small school. The community is really nice, but if your wanting the college experience then JBU is not the school for you. I think it would be a good school if there is less rules, and more things to do on campus and in the community.

Priscilla

John Brown is a fantastic school for people of all backgrounds. They are a private Christian school that requires 2 bible courses to be taken by all students, but even those who are not Christians love the campus. The professors are very approachable and are seen eating lunch or dinner with students in the cafeteria all the time! It is a very safe environment full of friendly faces, usually painted up for the Basketball and soccer games. It is the best place to call your second home.

Ana

Beautiful campus, nice facilities, and good food in the cafeteria. The students in the honors program showed that they are dedicated to getting the most out of their education, and their professors are people I would enjoy getting together with even outside of classes to discuss books or events or things that I've been processing.

Kathryn

The cafeteria was typical food, but there were a good variety of options. The school has solid academics and the professors prioritize the students' learning experience. I was a student-athlete and could've had difficulty with a STEM major while traveling for games, but the professors and other students were always willing to help me get notes and catch up on information. I made some of the best friends of my life there.

Laniese

The best part of JBU is easily the people. Students and staff alike genuinely care about you in the classroom and beyond. It is very easy to make friends because people are so approachable. The small class size allows you to get to know your classmates better. Plus, you aren't fighting hundreds and hundreds of other students for your professor's office hours. Classes will definitely push you academically, especially if you choose to be in the honors program. The only downsides are 1) if you're into party culture, you will struggle to find it here 2) food is not always the greatest, but sharing a meal with friends makes it better and 3) it's in a small town so there are not tons of shops/restaurants but there are 4 fairly large cities within a 40-minute drive that have just about everything.

Faith

JBU is a wonderful school where teachers do not look at you as a number but as a person, dedicated to building you up academically and spiritually. Everyone is willing to help you both academically and in your daily life with stress or other obstacles. Everything that happens on the campus is so that us students feel more welcome whether they are new students or seniors. We put our relationships with God and people above all because we know that when we are following God every step of the way, everything else will fall into place.

Amber

John Brown University has shown to be a very valuable experience. They provide excellent student academics and chances to grow. The community is the most talked about here on campus, but the community is strong here. The only downside of the campus is the food they provide, but even though the food is not great, meeting with friends in the cafeteria is a high light.

Lea

John Brown University provides a quality education. Not only does JBU provide academically rigorous courses, but they also hire amazing staff that truly loves to teach and engage with students. JBU is the perfect place to grow in your relationship with Christ and in your relationship with others.

Jessica

John Brown University excels in its academic pursuits and cares if their students are truly learning the material presented to them. They receive high marks not only in the formal classroom, but also in the true classroom of life, the real world. JBU offers multiple ways for students to apply their knowledge in the city of Siloam Springs around them, as well as in their community with their fellow students on campus.

Seth

John Brown University has a very nice campus, nice people, and an excellent engineering program. The campus itself is small compared to other campuses, but it makes the facilities more accessible to students. The staff are very nice people who help others when problems arise. The engineering program has some very excellent professors that will not give up on you if you need assistance. Overall, this university is pretty great.

Lydia-Joy

John Brown University is a place that is a home away from home. Friends are always there for you to help you feel at home. The campus is great! The gym is accessible almost all the time, which is great! The food is great, but like every other school, it can get a bit boring, but every week there is a meal that is different!
