Out of my college experience I have gained the ability to continue moving forward towards my dream rather it gets tough or not because in the end I will definitely get rewarded for the hard effort

So far I have gotten a lot out of my college experience. What I have gotten out of it is the fact that i know more about myself as a student. I learned time management, how I study best, how to keep my stress down, and I also learned that I love learning on line. My first term I met a lot of other students and we became friends. Even though my program is on line, I still am able to connect with other students. I've also gotten out of it is the fact that I know I can accomplish everything that I put my mind to. I learned that I can succeed. It has been valuable to attend this college because I want to get a degree and get into a good career. i know that without this college, I would not be able to do what I really want to do. It also has been valuable because I am able to learn so much and I will use everything that I learned when I get a good job. I hope that when i am finished I can get a job as a Medical office manager.

College has been a valuable experience for me for a variety of reasons. First, college has challenged me to push myself to excel. As a homeschool student, I found that the college learning experience was drastically different from anything I was used to. The deadlines, in-class discussions, and constructive feedback were all valuable parts of my college experience. Each of these factors helped to drive me to excel by going above and beyond anything I had attempted before. Secondly, college gave me the motivation to continue to try to improve my life. Working two jobs and attempting to raise money for school has taught me the value of improving my quality of life. College has helped me to realize how much I love to learn - how new information and new experiences are an invaluable part of my life. Overall, college has taught me to be responsible, to have integrity, to stay motivated, and to love learning. College has been an invaluable part of my life and I hope to continue learning more in the future.

I'm not in college yet, but I would love to start right away.

Out of my college experience, i was able to learn alot about my major and was able to discover that it is a very interesting subject to learn and to make out of in my career later on in the future. Also I love the campus, it really gives me the feeling that im my own comfort zone and able to rely on myself, as far as a where I need to go, what I can eat, and my own schedule that allows me to go to the classes that I need to attend regularly. Along with my college experience, I'm able to have strong friendships with the other students, especially when we have things in common, whether, its the love for video games and art, or if we have similar problems or experiences in our personal lives. During my first year of college, I have learned to value anything and everything there, and it has given me the courage and strength to be able to make it on my own, and to bond with the right kinds of people that can allow me to move forward.

I have previously attended a traditional college. I earned my Associates Degree in Nursing with a 4.0 GPA, in 2000. In the ten years since, I have learned many more things in the "institutions" of marriage, motherhood, grief counselor, and nursing among so many others. Now, as a working mother of 3 young children, I am finally able to complete my earliest formal educational goals. I intend to attend until I have earned my Masters Degree. I am able to do this now only because of Kaplan's online degree program. I have 3 young children. My youngest was born 16 months ago with a congenital heart defect. She is our angel! She requires lots of extra prayers, time, love, and so many medications. I also work, as I can, as a RN. So, physically attending school at specific times and dates is virtually immposible! Kaplan has helped make my dreams come true by offering me access to all the education I need and desire right from my living room! I can use my advanced nursing degree to help so many others in my future career! I am so grateful to Kaplan for finally making my goals achievable.

I have been attending college for a few days now and it is wonderful. I am getting started on a new career. I am doing all of this for my daughter. It has made me more of a man than I was and also a better father.

I have learned I need to find a school that will be trustworthy and help me get my degree instead of ripping my lifelong dream away from me.

My college experience has taught me, you are never to old to go to school. Learning is a never ending process of life. To stop learning is to stop living. I have learned that I can achieve anything I put my mind to and have gained self-confidence I thought I had lost. When I lost my father to lung cancer last year, I felt my life had no purpose. I wanted to make him proud of me and now it was too late for him to see me succeed. Then I thought of school and realized this is what he had wanted for me. He was a highschool dropout at the age of 16. He had to work the railroad to support his mother and brothers. When I was in highschool he wanted to be something more and received his GED. He didn't stop there. He went on to complete several college classes and received an Associates degree himself. When I thought of his life, I realized how much more he tried to give me. So here I am, back in school and this time I will finish and make my parents proud.

This university has been very valuable to me because it has changed my life. I find myself organized and self sufficient in my everyday tasks. Not only has college helped me straighten my life out, it has given me the chance to learn about my passion towards helping, and educating children! When I babysit kids in my neighborhood, I find myself excited when I recognize what to expect and how to interact with them more so then I had before I began college. I have only begun my experience with my school and am already noticing what college can do for me in my life. I believe attending has been beneficial for me in many ways as I conduct myself professionally in my work and in my intellectual conservations with friends and family. Overall, this experience has taught me that with hard work, determination and willpower, I can truly set my mind to anything I want to do or be. My mother never got the chance to go to college, which she regrets to this day as she struggles finically. That is why I value my college experience; I want to ensure that I will not have any regrets.

I receive knowledge from my courses, and it is a good reason to attend for a better life.

Kaplan University has a BS Forensic Accounting/Auditing Program designed for future forensic accountants. After completion of my bachelors, I will be well equipped with the academic knowledge needed to pursue my dreams in the forensic accounting entity.

Having graduated from high school 29 years ago and having taken college classes periodically throughout that time, I understand the importance of an education. After my divorce, I decided that I needed to return to school to continue my education, both for my own betterment and as a role model for my two children. I feel it is imperative that they see the importance of an education beyond high school and the best way to teach that is by example. I have gained better personal insight about myself and the goals and needs of others throughout my studies. I anticipate completing my courses and acquiring skills to assist me in my next role, as a mentor/counselor/advocate for children. Without this experience, both as a student and as a mother, I could not have understood the importance of an education and its value in my life and my children?s lives. I believe the value will continue to be apparent as I progress throughout my career, hopefully having a positive impact on those I encounter.

Attending college for the third time has made me wished I had stuck with it the first time. I am married with a child now and it is a lot harder to attend school when you have a family. Not only that to find time to look for scholarships, do homework and house work, and spend quality time with my husband an daughter. I do enjoy college more now when I am older because it is my adult conversation for the day. I have a two year old and I am a home maker. I love talking with my daughter, but it isn't as intellectual as class discussions. It is valuable to attend college because it shows my duaghter that women to go to college and can still be mommies.

I beive that every person should have to opportunity to an education and I love going to school. I am able to pursue a career that makes me happy and for the rest of my life I know that I will have a degree. That is one of the best feelings in the world and when I finally do finish, that is something that no one can take away from me.

I have learn that college is not for everyone but it is a great way to better yourself, even if you are not planning on using your college experience in the work place.

I was previously a salon owner until I became ill and could no longer stand on my feet to make a living. Without a job, especially in a downward economy where my husband's income had dropped by two thirds, I was becoming depressed. I saw a commercial about Kaplan Online, but had never been to college and didn't know where to begin, they helped me with everything and were so kind.
The dust has been removed from my brain. Skills that I had previously enjoyed but pushed aside, as in writing and researching, have been restored. I look forward to school even though it is difficult, and I believe that soon I will have a valuable career in a growing field. I cannot imagine feeling hopeless forever with no security for a future, and going to college has taken away any hopelessness and fear of my future. I hope it is also a subconscience message to my son, that one is never too old for a new start.

My long term goal is to attend law school. I am currently studying legal studies at Kaplan University. I hope to attain my BS in legal studies which hopefully will lay a firm foundation upon which to build andfurther my education in law school.

College has taught me that though a mother has to learn to be flexible, a time manager, and jack-of-all-trades, students have mountains that are sometimes insurmountable to climb. Many parents simply have forgotten with age or my case, never knew existed, the struggles of our young adults. I thought going to school was the cakewalk while my job as mother, breadwinner and homemaker was difficult. Learning is hard and my return to school has been a challenge. While it appears the student?s soak up their studies like a sponge, it takes me twice as long to grasp the same material. They are truly inspirational, the young adults I?ve met during my experience have taught me just how involved school is beyond studying; they are learning to save our world. Additionally, being a fulltime mom, I am a living demonstration to my two teenaged daughters the value of getting an education early in life before children. The value of my degree will be reflected when I am in the position to help them obtain theirs.

Before I attended college, I cared less about where my life was going. I hated high school for my poor grades. It was like once I started failing, it kept getting worse and the less I cared about it. With college I was given another choice to rise above myself and give myself a purpose in life. I didn?t want to flip burgers for the rest of my life. I wanted to be somebody who was confident in what she was doing and enjoyed every minute of it. I never had a rich life with money as a kid, only rich experiences. I wanted that to continue by taking what I have learned and will learn and put it to the test with the real world. The education is just a bonus within this experience that I will be getting out of going to this college and the people I meet along the way.
