I heard lots of great things about Perry Technical Institute but, the thing that really worried me was the entrance exam that we had to take in order to actually be accepted. I wanted to go somewhere where they really cared about their students and since I've been here they have done that from when I first walked through those doors.

At the beginning of school I was super skeptical. I had never been to a new school or had to meet new people and learn a new curriculum. After a few weeks I was beginning to become super comfortable. The instructors were always there to help and the classmates were super friendly. Overall the I believe that I made the correct choice as the schooling is fantastic and the instructors and people you're surrounded with are awesome.

I love the friendly and approachable staff. This school is a non-profit organization so that they can be sure that you the student are the focus of your education. They have a high rate of students who move on to careers after graduation and off many opportunities to make your education affordable and competitive to other schools.

I like Perry Tech a lot, the staff is friendly. Kimberly's Cafe rocks, her and her husband are amazing people. Ignore the stigma of trade schools. Trade Skills and a hands-on environment are awesome. Of course you're going to find people who do drugs everywhere, but they are quickly removed from Perry. Perry Tech has a safe campus with extensive safety procedures. You will have many job opportunities that come looking for you. Whats not to like?

In my opinion, Perry Technical Institute is a great school for trades and for getting a degree or certification in as short amount of time as possible. I feel as though the instructors and staff are involved in student's lives and that they care about us and want us to succeed. The downside to the school is how strict they are. The attendance system is very strict, making it difficult to balance work, school, and family life.

Great hands on technical school, and professors are always available when you need them. There is many technical classes that you can take. I personally like there Electrician class, that is one of the best technical class in the U.S. The technical School is a great school to consider.

They are well put together and know how to act around employers. We were educated enough to know to act like an adult with respect for others.
What is the stereotype of students at your school? Is this stereotype accurate?
I would think that the stereotypes for the students here are that we're all rich. This is not even close to rich. More than half of the students here get financial aid and loans.

Though financial aid deadlines vary by school, it is a good idea to apply as soon as possible. For the upcoming school year, you can apply as early as October 1 for the FAFSA. Additional school aid will be dependent on the FAFSA results.
