I feel that one of the biggest things we have to tackle on campus, and one of the most underrated things, is the meal plan. we simply do not get enough bang for our buck. all of the food is too expensive and our meal plan is not conducive to eating 3 meals a day every day for an entire semester

it's an amazing school because it feels smaller than it really it. I love the campus because it's gorgeous and everything is close together. I think it's a perfect size because you do not feel like an just a number and also you still see people everyday that you have never seen before.

Our school is the perfect size. I feel i have grown to know and trust my professors and they show a compassion for their teaching. This school offers many opportunities and i am proud to be a student here.

QU is a great school academically. It is however accepting too many new students and the current students suffer with inadequate housing.

I think quinnipiac is really great except for their disciplinary board. They are very tough on students without knowing all the facts and give out ridiculous punishments that are unwarranted. They also have a way of trying to hide any problems that occur on campus even going so far as to hide them from the student population.

Academically, Quinnipiac is very good. I believe we have a great health science curriculum. Socially, I think there are not enough males for the amount of females that are on campus. I think a lot of the issues that occur on campus are ignored or kept secret. I have experienced some very difficult times throughout my two year duration at Quinnipiac and not one person working at this school has acknowledged these hard times. The lottery system for housing puts a lot of unnecessary stress on the students while they can be focusing on their academics. During my freshman year I did not get a lottery number at all which put a lot of stress on me on top of all of my school work. I was also sexually assaulted during May Weekend last year and since then not one faculty member of this school has made an effort to contact me and to see how I am handling everything. I also do not think that Quinnipiac has a lot of school spirit which may be because of the size of the school but because of this lack of spirit, it makes the school a lot less fun to be attending. I may be very bitter towards the school because of my previous experiences but I personally would not recommend this school to anyone and I think that is sad.

Quinnipiac is a growing community that allows students to have some amazing opportunities during their college years. The education that is received through the university is one of the best and is what attracts many people to the campus. However it is the organizations and leadership opportunities that keep the people here.

I feel that the best thing about Quinnipiac is the academics. One thing I would change is making there be more activites a little closer to campus.I feel the size of the school is just right. I spend most of my time in my dorm, either in the study lounge or friend's rooms. I feel the biggest recent controversy has been the issue with the newspaper and the administration's reaction to it. The most frequent student complianst have been about cafeteria money, caf hours, along with the housing lottery problems and scheduling.

The best thing about QU is the beautiful campus and the small population so you get to feel comfortable around campus. Qu is small enough that you feel at home but big enough so you meet new people everyday. One thing i would change is more interaction between each school (school of health science, school of buisness, etc.) On the weekends a lot of people do go into New Haven because there are a lot of things to do, but it is possible to stay on campus and have fun. Some negative aspects of QU are the prices, some lack of involvment on behalf of the students, and sometimes its hard to deal with security, registration, res life or other staff unless you get your parents to call. Overall, i think QU is a great place to come if you are looking for a smaller school in a quiet area that is visually pleasing but you still have access to a major city within 10 minutes.
