What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
Hey bro. Start the tough classes now. Save the easy generals until the end. Although you think you want to major in Radiology, you'll end up changing your mind to Electrical Engineering because Radiology takes 10+ years of schooling. Then, you'll change your major again to Civil Engineering because you don't want to deal with the electromagnetic world due to its intense complexity. Also, save up as much money as you can, even though you can't attain a job because of the ailing economy. Apply for a plethora of scholarships, because if you don't, you'll regret it when you see the price of tuition. Also, try to enjoy your last week of high school, as you will miss your friends and teachers. Don't worry though; you will get over it once you start college! College brings freedom of choice and endless possibilities. It feels great to be treated as an equal, and not as an inferior. High school is nice, but college is so much better. I will leave you with on last thing. Network, network, network! The more people you know, the more options you have for your future career et cetera.

What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
The most exasperating fact about Texas Lutheran University is its location as well as its undersized (small) campus. Texas Lutheran University is located near the small town called Seguin in Texas. As an international student I find difficult living in Seguin and other cities around because there isn’t any particular place where students can meet and have fun with each other. In addition, the campus is small and limited to outside student activities.

What kind of person should not attend this school?
During my frist semester, there were a lot of athletes who went to TLU just to play sports, but a lot ended up failing. Students who are attending TLU just for sports are going to have a very difficult time juggling academics and athletics. They have to have the drive to do well in school as well as sports. Academics has to come before athletics, but for most, it ends up the other way around. It is not very smart to pay the money it costs to attend a private school and not do the best you can do academically.

What's the most frustrating thing about your school?
The most frustrating thing about TLU is the social atmosphere and the emphasis on the Greek life here. There are times when it can start to feel a little bit like high school and if you don't participate in Greek life you aren't considered "cool," but it all depends on how much you branch out and make an effort.

What's unique about your campus?
The best thing at my school is the economy i think its wonderful here the campus is beautiful, the professors are very nice they will help you in any way they can. the classes are very small here that maximum students in one classroom is like 30 and to me thats what i like because you can focus more and you have a better chance of having one on one with your professor than you would with 100 sturdents or more.
