Filling out my application for an internship in Spain, I realized how many opportunities my university really opened up for me. I was given the opportunity to study the ethical and moral nature of the ecotourism business in Costa Rica first hand through study abroad, I have met and been lectured to by many leaders in the business world, and am recieving practical knowledge of business through hands-on projects and assignments. In addition to the Throughout my time at the U of A, I have felt a great sense of belonging in the Wildcat community. I felt it in the ZonaZoo where school pride is clearly visible and could not be ignored especially for the big rivalry game with ASU. I also felt it in the middle of the night at the library during finals week and in the 3 am coffee runs. This school is overflowing pride and it has helped me to become confident in myself and my abilities to succeed.

From my college experience I have learned the importance of a community. College is nothing but a community of learners; we all come together because of the belief that learning together is more important than learning apart, that thorough the interaction between our fellow students and professors much knowledge can be discovered and acquired. The college experience is valuable to attend because it provides the opportunity to forge relationships with others, and theses relationships are the doorway to a better world both for the individual and the community.

Having only completed one semester at The University of Arizona I feel as if i learned a lot more than most other college students. I'm from out of state and I am paying a considerable amount for my education so I promised myself to make the most of it, mostly education wise but not ONLY education wise. I never knew how hard it would be to leave my family back in Boston. Home-cooked meals never sounded so good but a part of flying is leaving the nest. Most students would love to go down the street to a college close to home just for the independence but I wanted the real experience of going off and really being on my own. On top of the academics, sports and volunteer work, bills are a extensive part of this "grown-up" world and not the most joyful part at that. Paying for college is part of this independence but it has also put me into a slight debt but its all part of the full experience.

After just a semester at the University of Arizona, I have matured substantially, reaching no bounds in discovering myself. With the freedom to create my own schedule, I have been able to take classes that appeal to me. By selecting courses pertaining to my interests, I can discover my abilities and fascinations, while broadening my education at the same time. Studying new, unique subjects and discussing them at a scholastic level has given me an appreciation for learning and expanding my knowledge. The university has also given me the ability to discover myself socially and confidently interact with others. I have met my best friends at this school and developed a connection that I do not believe could have been formed anywhere else. Even with professors and teachers, I have established a professional relationship and learned to confidently interact with them. After just one semester, the University of Arizona has bettered me as a student, peer, and human being. I can only imagine the promising future the university will provide me with for the rest of my tenure here.

My college experience thus far has been dependant on my activites within college. I used to do marching band in high school and felt that once I got to college, I would quit that activity. In my freshman year of a free fall semester from practices and football games, I met some of my best friends today. However, I felt that I missed my old activity and took marching band up again the next fall, while keeping my best friends. In band, I made some great bonds with people I wouldn't have otherwise met. I feel that most of the people I'll know after college will be those friends I have now. I have luckily been able to take classes with these friends and face the challenges these classes present to us with them. I know for a fact that I would not have had the privlege to know whom I know now if I had or had not participated in certain activies only obtainable through my school. The University of Arizona has been valuable to attend because of what it can offer to students in academics, activities, and simply friends.

My collage experience has not only helped me mature into a responsible, independent adult but it also helped me reach my dreams. I have known what I wanted to do for a career since I was a young child. Without collage and specifically this collage I would never have made it. My academic advisor has been helping me out since the beginning. Because of this institution I have had two different lab jobs, a student manager position and two internships. After I graduate I'll be headed to Antarctica to finish up a project supported by NASA. This is what I have been working my whole life to achieve. Without collage I would never have made it this far. I have seen what I want and it is within my grasp. I have the ability to support my own needs and work towards a bright future.

The most striking thing I've learned from attending college is the value of life management. I cannot think of an environment that more efficiently tests the adaptability of a person than college life. The money- and time-management skills I've obtained out of necessity in college will be invaluable in my professional life. In addition, I've made many connections and friends that will help me both professionally and personally in the years to come. Many of these people I would not have met if not for having my university as a common factor. Though it may not be particularly valuable in the traditional sense, the opportunity to explore many different activities and areas of study has been satisfying on a personal level. The kinds of experiential opportunities afforded in college are not offered at any other time in life and it's been a pleasure taking advantage of all of them.

Notable college experiences would be understanding one's relationship between the college and themsleves. The relationship between the student and the college is important because the student has to stay connected and aware and when there's an established relationship, one's college experience can be soaring. My college experiences has revolved around primarily striving to perform good in school and maintaining my relationship with the college. I established my relationship with the college by simply checking my e-mail. Through this, I gained immense amounts of information about community events, volunteer opportunities, available advisor sessions, and e-mails from my professors about class-related information. This has kept me in the know about what is going on around the college and community and also notified me of any important updates I needed.
It has been valuable to attend my college because I believe I gained the full college experience of being far away from home, meeting completely need friends and acquaintances, and having the sense of being independent. These achievements has benefited my progress of moving into the real world and building my self-confidence in achieving my life goals one step at a time through different college experiences.

I have gotten out of my college experience that life is a constant competition and one must be prepare for it. It is like a race that one must train for four years or more., and even with four years of training one must be always keep studying to "be in shape". It has been so valuable to attend because here at University you do not just receive education that would help you grow as a professional , you would grow as a person. I have never ever seen such a multicultural world. Yes this a new world, we call it here THE WILDCAT WORLD , where everybody respect each other, it doesn't matter your religion , or ethinicity , you are valued because of your knowledge, and we all share the same dream : SUCCESS .
