What's unique about your campus?
I feel that the best aspect of my school is the strong academic orientation of the school. I like how I am able to have an active social life while still keeping my grades up and the pressure to join Greek life doesnot conflict with my studies and my ability to make friends. Ursinus is a supportive academically, socially, and emotionally. These were all of the characteristics which I pursued in a school when applying to colleges.

Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!
Ursinus is a small, liberal arts school that can relate to it's student body. There are things for everyone to do on campus, you just need to look around. Many of the students party Thursday-Saturday nights, but they are still able to get the required work done with superb results. The atmosphere does not interfere with the majority of the student body's work.

What are the academics like at your school?
Ursinus offers students a remarkable education centered on its common intellectual environment (CIE). Prospective students and parents should take note. There is good evidence that education increases significantly when students start from a common base. For example, colleges, such as Ursinus, that recruit students who are equally well prepared, will learn far more in class. That is common sense, because the professor can adapt his or her teaching to all the students without the burden of trying to accomodate a few who are either not ready for the course material, or who are well beyond it. When you add to that a program such as Ursinus' CIE, you have the basis for world class education. Having spent time on the campus on several occasions recently, I can attest that is the experience of students on this campus west of Philadelphia.
