My overall opinion of Ursuline College is pretty great. The campus is beautiful and pretty small so it doesn't take very long to get anywhere. The food is better than average with their selection and variety of meals. The facilities are stellar, particularly those in the athletic building. The housing is very nice and one can always put in a work order if something is broken or just not working. But I would have to say that I particularly love the staff, the classes, and the small class sizes. Having only a dozen or so students as the average class size is great, especially if one is having problems with the course. Especially within my major, I know that I can always approach my professors with any and all questions I may have and that they will answer to the best of their knowledge without judgement. This and the overall variety of class content makes me proud and grateful that I attend Ursuline College.

Honestly, Ursuline is extremely safe, small, and peaceful. The campus is absolutely beautiful-there's a fountain in a giant pond that the dorms and main buildings surround. Personally it's close to home but far away enough to feel like I'm at college. The food is pretty good considering we don't have culinary arts. There's a salad bar, smoothies and shakes on Friday's, a grill that is always open during kitchen hours, and a main course meal everyday. There are even weekend hours that the cafeteria is open. If you like to party, drink, or smoke I wouldn't recommend this college as we mainly focus on education and sports. The professors do a really great job replying quickly and even knowing you as a person rather than just a number. Classroom sizes are small and suitable for learning as well. As far as making friends goes, mostly every person I've met is friendly! Ursuline is mainly an all girls college but there are men who attend here. I said I'd never go to a Catholic all girls school but I stepped on campus and loved it. Who knows, you may fall in love too.

IT'S AWESOME!!! I love it. I went to visit it this weekend and I think its amazing. I will be planning to go to Ursuline College if I get enough money to pay for it. I like the all-girl advantage also. Less drama equals more opportunities to learn. I believe I've found the right college and am planning to apply.

Ursuline college is an extraordinary college. The small class sizes allow peers to get to know one another, and develop friendships. They also allow the college to have a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Moreover, the class sizes encourage students to be more involved in class, and teachers to be more involved with individual students. Overall, I am very happy to be attending Ursuline College, and to be a part of the friendly atmosphere.

As a sophomore at Ursuline College, I must say that their is not a day that goes by that I wish that I had chosen another college. A friendly and easy to navigate campus with a ton of clubs and other activities to join there is always something to do. With a small student population and professors that are easily accessible it is a great place to get hands on learning but still provoking thought and insight. Here your degree is not handed to you, it is something that you and your professors all work toward in helping you get to your future goals.

Ursuline College is overall a wonderful school. The classes are small and the professors are always available. Your professor will help you if you're struggling in any kind of way. Also, if you get bored on campus, we have a lot of groups you can join foe example diversity board or AIMS or you can join sports like basketball, volleyball, or track. There is always something to do on campus and easy it is to make friends because everyone has similar interests and goals. But the only down fall of Ursuline is that they do not have transportation for commuters like bus passes. If you don't want to be a commuter you can stay on campus, the dorms are really nice and big. The school is great but it need a few changes so over all I give the school four stars.

It's a beautiful campus and lots of activities to do during the week and the weekends the campus is basically deserted. The food is good and the professor really care about students achieving their goal. If you decide to go to Ursuline make sure to check out First year to career and AIMS

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
If I could go back and talk to myself as a high school senior, I would tell myself not to put off going to college. That was the worst decision of my life. I ended up getting married at 19 and that was a big mistake. I was divorced by 23 with a beautiful daugher. I started going back to school at the age of 31, so I was not able to experience the wonderful world of campus life. If I could go back in time, I would definately let myself know that there is a huge world out there and that I need to put my future in my hands and go directly to college. Jobs are really limited when you do not posess a college degree. You are to smart to let life pass you by! Make the most of your potential!
Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!
Everyone the staff , falculty, including the President work with you for you to succeed. They support you in what ever you need in the classes, career planning, job seeking and personal challenges. There is nothing they will not help you with. Classes are small and the professors get to know you as an individual, they care. It is not like being lost in a crowd of 200 students as a social security number. They know your name.
What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?
Honestly, I wish I had known how great their UCAP (Ursuline College Accelerated Program) program was. I spent a few years hopping from school to school trying to find something that felt right. When you are paying for your own education out of pocket you want to feel like you are actually learning something; not just regurgitating information for the sake of a piece of paper.
The person or persons who should attend Ursuline College are the ones who are devoted and well rounded and are ready to comitte to college life. College life is not easy and should be taken seriousley by those who are seeking to obtain a degree and a better life for themselves, the courses can be hard only for those who are not focus on their studies and don't plan ahead and set aside for time mangenment skills. College life can build and empower those with knowledge, determination and skills that can lead to a bright future .
What kind of person should not attend this school?
It is amazing regarding what the question that you are asking is. It is also my motivation, for returning to nursing school, to obtain my Masters in Nursing and Education. I believe, and unfortunately have experienced, that there are nurses in the working world, who have returned to school and due to the lack of nurse educators, causing the class curriculums to be presented in online form, there is no one to weed out the nurses, who are only in nursing, for the money. The care they are giving is affecting our patient outcomes.
Ursuline College is a place full of friendly and caring faces. All the people I have encountered on campus have gone out of their way to ensure that questions are answered, information is provided and recieved, and that the students are taken care of and encouraged.
My school is best known for its nursing program and art therapy progam. The nursing program is very competitive and very tough. The nurses that come from my school are recruited to hospitals before they even graduate.
What's the most frustrating thing about your school?
Some of the teachers hold biases against specific students. Also, if you're a guy, there is a lot of girl drama that may not be very appealling to you. If you're a visual/hands-on learner, this school is not for you as an incoming freshman.
All students must apply yearly for financial aid. This process starts with the FAFSA.
