I have enjoyed the last year and a half at Walla Walla Community College. As it is not a university, there are not dorms or too much student involvement, as no one is there 24/7. As far as counselors, I've been provided with great information on classes to take in future quarters and have been given a lot of assistance with enrolling and such. There are a few really bad professors that you would not want to get stuck with that made the quarter quite impossible, however I've really enjoyed my months with a few of them.

Walla Walla Community College is a quiet little college in the small town of Walla Walla, Washington. This college is on a small but gorgeous campus, this school has a good amount of school spirit, which I like. They have a softball, volleyball, womens and mens basketball, and a baseball team. These games are fun to go to and support your school. They are renovating and building new buildings on campus. While on campus I also feel very safe and never in danger. The campus is easy to navigate and the staff are very kind and are always willing to help you. They recently added an amazing rec center with a weight room, cardio center, basketball court, and showers. I use this center all the time, it is nice, new, clean and the staff are alway greet you when you come in. Walla Walla Community College doesn't offer on campus living. The classes average from 10-30 students, the students are friendly and have been very kind. The professors have been understanding and will help students out when they communicate. All of the teachers that I have had so far are great teachers who have a passion for what they teach. They do this by making their class fun and relatable. The best part of WWCC to me is that there are no classes on Wednesday, this makes my week feel much shorter and gives me time to complete homework. There are many different classes at WWCC, I think there is a place for everyone to fit in at WWCC. Overall, I have had a great experience at Walla Walla Community College.

It is a very nice community college with plenty of student activities to get involved in. I loved all of my professors, and they are all very accommodating and respectful. I had a lot of amazing class discussions. Fine arts are amazing, there's an awesome choral group on campus that I'd definitely recommend anyone to go check out, along with the art classes!

I love it! It is small and local, but all the professors I have had were all great and gave me a wonderful first experience at college. The campus is very easy to navigate. It may take a little to get used to, but everywhere is like that. It is easy to make friends and to talk to the professors/staff.

I have loved the time spent so far. Prior to my time at Walla Walla community college. I had no idea how to even check my oil; now I can tear apart an engine, diagnose the defect or malfunction, and than repair it. It's one of the most rewarding emotions a person can experience in life. To understand something so completely and be able to say, I learnt all of this through instructors who are the best. I have complete confidence in my knowledge because of where I went for my education.

Walla Walla Community College has a very beautiful campus and is set in a very beautiful town. There is always things to do and adventure, Walla walla has its own agenda, with calming sunsets, great local foods to always try, and many places to stay active at, including the YMCA. WWCC may not be the most diverse but it is very inclusive, and I enjoy meeting new people all the time.

Walla Walla Community College is known for having professors that really care about you as a student and individual. The small class sizes make interaction between all students and teachers stand out from other campuses. The athletic culture is extremely prevalent and campus is small so you basically know everyone and everything about them. For example, you could pass a student in the hall and know who they are dating, their entire list of exes, and even what you heard they did at that "social gathering" last weekend even though you have never spoken a word to them in your entire life. Chances are you have also stalked their social media count more times than you would like to admit! If you feel comfortable having random people know details about your life that you didn't even know yourself- this is the place to be!

Has a great atmosphere, well taught classes that are understandable, and teachers are available and happy to help student understand information. As a student one of my teachers would even meet with me everyday after class to help me write a perfect essay. After that constant extracurricular help, I am now a A+ essay writer!

I absolutely love WWCC! I entered Fall 2017 after moving out of state to get away from an accident I was in that almost took my life. I dropped out of high school with .5 credits left to graduate after I lost my best friend in school to suicide. The advisers in the high school completion program are absolutely phenomenal and have helped me get back on my feet. I'm currently taking my high school completion course, psychology, and business math to advance myself into the world of psychology to later transfer to a 4 year college and receive my doctorate degree as a psychiatrist. WWCC has been the biggest blessing i could've ever asked for, and I'm continuously amazed by their determination and hard work in getting their students where they want to be.

My first impression of this college was that it's very clean and the staff are friendly. The first time I applied though in 2014 did not go well. It took me 3 years to get into the school. I think the advisor did not really help me much. This is the part of the school application process I did not like. I also felt like my previous studies were taken for granted. Some of my subjects were considered while others weren't. The teachers are hard working some are more dedicated than others. I love the environment, but I feel there might be a lacking in the extra curricular activities. They don't enforce it and I hardly know what clubs to join because they don't give you a guide to what the school has to offer. I think that they could make improvements in this area.
Sarah
I love it here, and I would recommend WWCC to anyone! This is a great school, with caring faculty in a pleasant small town. There are plenty opportunists to succeed, and plenty of help for those that need it. Come to Walla Walla and be impressed by "just" a community college.

It's a great community college, however it's limited and goes not have much to offer and some classes are only offered on certain quarters only. I wish this college had more classes regarding art and more outside of college actives like intramural games.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Walla Walla Community College is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020, _____ students were offered admission.
What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
I believe that you should live life without regrets. I believe that everything I did up to my freshman year of college set me up for my college career perfectly. In life, I've learned that someone can tell you 100 times how to act, but until you learn it yourself, the lesson won't stick. Thus, I wouldn't change or take back anything I did to prepare me for college. I had to learn the lessons on my own. This being said, if I could talk to other high school seniors and give them advice, I would tell them to take every AP or concurrent class they can in high school. I took several of these classes and it made such a difference when I entered college. The credits are quite affordable and every credit counts in college. I would also tell them to take a variety of classes in high school. This way they will be better able to weed out subjects they aren't passionate about and can pursue classes that they are passionate about as it will better assist them when picking a major.
I consider the instructors' dedication and geniune care for their students to be the best part about my school, Walla Walla Community College. The instructors not only understand that they are there for and because of the students, but they show it. It's rewarding and gratifying to take courses that are challenging. Courses in which the instructor push students to a level where they must develop and widen their point of view to veiw the world in new ways.
Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!
Walla Walla Community College is a school that contains a full spectrum of different classes a person can take when they are looking for a place to go to when they are not ready to attend a four-year institution. The cost is inexpensive and includes staff that are willing to become involved with you one-on-one to help you get through school and onto a university. There are also a full array of clubs that pertain to all types of people as well as other organizations that help low-income students as well as students with disablities.
WWCC has been an excellent learning experience marked by helpful and informative teachers and staff that genuinely care about the education of its students.
What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?
I wish i would have known more of what it was going to be like and how the teachers really could care less about your school work and if you attend class or not. There isn't really much help offered and a lot of the staff is rude and not helpful. I also wish i would have known that I wouldn't be able to get into the classes I needed.
Anyone type of person should attend this school. The community college works well for students who want to take a gradual step into college or just cannot afford the cost of a four-year university. Some people think that community colleges may seem uncool since you do not feel the full univeristy experience. However, I feel that this community college is a perfect place for anyone who is committed towards their education and want to lighten the financial burden after they graduate from a four-year school.
What's the most frustrating thing about your school?
The most frustrating thing about my school is how hard it is to find someone to help you with things that you need help with. Also, how overcrowded it is here and how hard it is to get into classes that i need.
