It's a great school to advance in your career or to start a career...the teachers are available.Everyone looks out for each other and there always tutoring available if you need the extra help with your studies. I am attending in the Spring of 2025 for Nursing .

Overall it's a good school to go to. I would recommend it, especially for those who are high school seniors and want to do 2 years at community college before transferring to a university. They offer a wide array of programs and classes to appeal to different interests and they're all taught by instructors who are actually invested in the academic future of their students.

Baton Rouge Community College truly is an amazing college. From the students to the staff, I have enjoyed every semester I have attended at this school. The teachers are kind and willing to help you in any way they possibly can. The facilities are up to date and awesome. I really love the classrooms here and the labs! A also really enjoy studying at the library; it is gorgeous. A few things that I would consider a down side is that there is not much to choose from for breakfast or lunch on or near campus. It can be scary at night on campus but durning the day I always feel extremely safe. There are always police on campus to make sure everything is safe, this adds that feeling of security for if you are going on campus. There are also several phones on campus you can use for emergencies which is great as well. Overall, I love going to school here and I have had an amazing educational experience so far!

I like BRCC, I transferred from my 4 year University to here and I don’t regret it not one bit. The professors care about your education. Student Body Government is great. The only thing I do regret is not attending a Community College first then because I’ve learned so much within the short time span I attended here.

    I wish I had known exactly what I wanted to major in before I went to this college. But going to this college was a good start, not knowing what I was going to major in.

    The kind of person that shoud not attend this school would be a person who just wants to sit around and do nothing at all, a person who is not ready for a challenge, a person who does not like to do work or study, A person who doesn't like being around alot of students or becoming associates with them, a person who do not like taking chances to make something of themselves or one who isn't ready to learning other ways of studying, making good grades, volunteering, or participating in different school events to make themselves students.

    The most frustrating thing about my school is that it does not have many things for us to do or join. They have alot of things to do but it is all for the athletes and geeks. There is nothing for the people in between.

    I'm majoring in child development when i finish this and earn my associate degree i want to become a p-k teacher..yes i have spend time with one of my professors outside of class. Everyone in class participation is common that's what i admire about the college and since i started i do have a lot of competitiveness my teachers which i love cause that just make me more stronger in my work

    It is a predominantly black school as far as I have noticed, but I will say that the majority of the people at this school do not exhibit the negative traits associated with their respective stereotypes.

    BRCC is best known for the ability to easily transfer from BRCC to any other Louisiana state college. The admissions office is very helpful in making sure you stay on track with the curriculum your transfer school requires

    The most popular is basketball and SGA sponsored events like Back-To-School Kick Back and free breakfast for finals week.

    It is great. It is helping me get used to the rustle and bustle of college life, and the ability to schedule my own classes is a much appreciated option.

    Administrative employees that are quick to blame students for not completing appropriate records, or for following instructions, when the student has diligently followed the instruction offered by a representative of the school.
