I absolutely love Louisiana Lady Techsters 5 🏀♥️💙
Adrian - 05/14/2024
Amazing and wholesome experience, everyone is extremely friendly and active. Students held big gatherings, such as picnics and study groups. No one seems to look gloom or down. The campus and buildings were all beautiful and practical. The were made from red bricks and architectural windows that brought the brightness. The students were very informative of my questions and answers, the professors were also outgoing. The practically threw themselves to me. This experience was extravagant and loved it.

A great technical school that is on the upper end of value. If you can adapt to the fast passed quarter system and have effective study nd work habits you will get the best value of education quality and affordable.
Frederick - 03/24/2024
Louisiana Tech is renowned for the high quality of it's college of engineering and science (COES). It operates on a quarter based system and it is extremely fast-paced. Ruston is home to LA Tech, and it is a very small town with limited diversity. Ruston is in the middle of nowhere, and there are only a few spots like the neighborhood Walmart, Tech Track, and a Walmart Superstore on the interstate as locations for shopping and extracurricular activities. In summary, LA Tech is the right school for you if you do not party much and you are capable of keeping up with an intensive and fast-paced academic workload.

Louisiana Tech is a very inclusive university. At Louisiana Tech, there are many traditions that keep you a part of the campus, even after you leave! Louisiana Tech has a smaller campus, which means that the classes are smaller and more inclusive! The professors are always willing to answer questions (even after their office hours) and want you to succeed! The professors also offer to be a reference for your resume after college and recommend you for job positions! Louisiana Tech is a great university that always wants the best for their students and faculty!

It is a great school that has plenty of opportunities for students and faculty to get involved in. The buildings are mostly good looking. The professors are helpful and listen. There are plenty of activities and sports students have fun with. Most people are vary helpful to one another, and there are many study groops.

Louisiana Tech University is such an amazing place to be. From the academics to the socials it is an all around great school! The professors and faculty are all so very nice and helpful. If there is any issue at all there is always someone willing to help out. The students are all so kind here too. Everyone seems very happy to be here!

Louisiana Tech is a great university that provides its students with a great education and amazing opportunities. The professors are where Tech shines, they are engaging, interesting, and passionate about what they are teaching, they care about their students learning and growing and help students reach their potential! Great community and ways to get involved. A lot of the professors genuinely care about you and your success.

I love Louisiana Tech. It has always been an open and loving community that has accepted me and made me feel welcome. I am a student worker, so I have the ability to truly see the ins and outs of the university. It makes me feel like I am part of something big. I love helping students and being the best employee I can be. I am not the biggest fan of the cafeteria food, but on campus options are great, too. Overall, I love this school and I will be sad to leave next year.
Tariyah - 01/19/2023
Louisiana Tech is provides not only a great education, but a great home away from home. I originally wanted to go to school closer to home, but after visiting Louisiana Tech I fell in love. At this school, you are not just a number. Louisiana Tech also has one of the most hands on engineering curriculum's in the state, which made learning very applicable.

Tech was a very enjoyable place to be with a pleasant small town surrounding it. There wasn’t much to do there outside of class, but everyone mostly felt friendly and helpful. The professors were almost entirely amazing, but there are a couple bad apples that can ruin the experience.
Samantha - 11/09/2020
This school has been a blessing to me and my brother and I will be forever thankful for what opportunities and people it has brought to me. I feel very involved and included across campus by students and staff. My professors are always encouraging and they push me to do my best. I would recommend LATech to anyone looking for a good affordable college.
Amelia - 06/19/2020
It is a great place to go to school, not too large but still gives the college feel. It makes you feel at home and offers tons of opportunities to get involved with whatever suits you best. The professors are the perfect balance of hands on and allowing the students to be responsible for themselves. Tech feels like home.

I love this school. It's like we're a family and everyone gets involved with campus activities. We all live for the Saturday football games. Ever since i stepped foot on this campus, I have felt welcomed to be involved with other students here. Overall this college get an A++

I will be attending Louisiana Tech in the fall, and have visited the campus multiple times. I feel that i have a pretty good understanding of how life at Tech works and am genuinely excited to start the next chapter of my life. I can’t wait to see what the future has in store!

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
When I decided to go to Tech, I was very interested in the importance of learning. I wanted to become an electrical engineer. Tech is a very good school for teaching in this area of work. I have learned many new ideas. I have dyslexia, and it has been hard for me to get all of the information I have needed for each class. I would like to continue at Tech and it has been hard on my family paying the tuition, but I expect to complete my education here and find a good job with the skills I will develop over the next few years.
Great teachers and overall atmosphere. While the professors in the art department are not famous, they are incredibly knowledgable and most of them are happy to admit their short-comings so that you can learn from them more effectively. Overall, I'm very surprised by the quality of education I am getting here. I expected it to be good, but not this good.
Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!
Louisiana Tech has a very big and well-renowned engineering program. The freshmen engineering courses prepare you with the basics, and give you tons of hands-on experience. The smaller class size is nice as well.
Anyone who wants to better their education in a academically competitive school. You have to be willing to work hard, but trust me it all pays off in the end. Louisiana Tech is a wonderful environment full of academic orriented students who are well rounded and are also involved in on campus activities and clubs as well. Students who work hard in the classroom as well as embark on social activities are what really add the extra energy and passion into are campus!
What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?
When talking about my school to others I brag on the campus and clean it is. I always talk about our quarter system and how i think it is way better than being on a semester system. i brag on how smart you actually have to be in order to get into my school and i mostly brag on our football team. HOW ABOUT THEM DOGS!!
What's the most frustrating thing about your school?
The most frustrating thing about Louisiana Tech is the lack of school spirit. We all go to Tech...not LSU!! Either you chose not to go there or you couldn't get it. Support your school. You're a bulldawg not a tiger!!
