Only a few of my classmates are engaging, the rest just want to get in and out of class as quick as possible and/or they go soley for attendance points.

Classmates come from good midwestern families for the most part. There are a large number of students of Asian background. Overall the atmosphere I get on campus in most department buildings is striving for learning. Engineering and agriculture are huge parts of the college and the students in these majors I would say mainly come from small town Iowa. If there is a country concert on campus cowboy boots and cowboy hats are sure to be seen. I believe students here for the most part are good hearted and love Iowa State University.

My classmates consist of a diverse group of people--mostly male in my engineering courses.

Most of my classmates are in the Engineering Curriculum like I am, and are enthusiastic, energetic, creative individuals who once graduated from the university will make outstanding Engineers in whichever job and community they choose. We are a diverse group, which students from around the globe.

It's a great campus in which to meet a lot of people. I've gained a lot of friends just by meeting people who are in the same classes as me. Most people are just as friendly and outgoing as you are.

The College of Design holds a 20/30/50 mix of rural middle-class kids who wear clothing from the mall and usually emphasize in illustration, interior deisgn or landscape architecure; young professionals who buy clothing from the gap and study architecture or urban planning; and counter-culture socialites who seek thrift store treasures and create ironic artworks that reference socio-political identifications, also known as integrated studio art & graphic design students with a smattering of landscape architecure students [see urban dictionary's definition of hipster.]

My classmates are very good people. You can ask them any question and they will help. We all work well as a group and I wouldn't want it any other way.

My classmates all seem to get along very well with me and other students and they are all very helpful in group projects and group discussions.

I have really gotten to know my classmates this past semester because we had a learning community together, and I think they are all great. I really got close to most of them and I am so glad because a lot of them are my friends.
