Is the stereotype of students at your school accurate?
The stereotypes typically INCORRECT. Less than 10{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} have poor hygiene, few are social outcasts, and at least half of the student body might be considered attractive to the average individual.

What are the academics like at your school?
The workload is INTENSE and HEAVY. You go to school (on average) for about 5-6 hours a day and go home with about 4-8 hours of homework a night. This is NOT for the weak, the lazy, those addicted to gaming, or those who are prone to procrastinate.

What is your overall opinion of this school?
Neumont is INTENSE. If you're not committed to getting your degree, it is a waste of money. However, if you're looking to become one of the best and most relevant developers in the industry, Neumont makes that possible in about HALF the time a "standard" university does. The curriculum is ALWAYS relevant and cutting-edge. The quality of the projects and internships is exceptional. There is no better CS University outside of MIT.

What are the most popular student activities/groups?
Thanks to addition of "Orders" (aka fraternities), the activity agenda has exploded. Students have taken over the planning and execution of the school's largest activities and the level of fun and enjoyment has only increased since. The school also plans events and trips for students to diversify their daily and weekend activities. Nerdapalooza, Nerdi Gras, Humans vs Zombies, Nerf Wars, and Crappy Movie Night are some of my personal favorites.

Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!
I cannot accurately describe the intensity and difficulty of this school's educational program. The official attrition rate is about {4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c}35 to {4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c}40. My cohort alone suffered about {4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c}70 attrition, meaning only about {4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c}30 graduated. HOWEVER, my time at Neumont was THE BEST educational experience of my life. The quality of the education is exceptional and Neumont prepared me for the workplace. The skills and technologies I learned at Neumont has helped me to excel in my current job. I got my job due in great part to Neumont's enterprise and job placement programs. Bottom line is Neumont is worth the tuition for any student dedicated to completing the program and being their best.

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
Save every penny you can and jump on any and every scholarship oppertunity you can. Don't put it off until closer to entering collage. Deadlines appear fast and seemingly out of nowhere and you are always in need of a few extra dollars. Collage is no different from any other school, you make friends, you get homework, but in collage there is a lot more riding on every assignment. Seek help if you need it, don't let your pride injure your grades. Moving is the worst part, you leave your friends and family behind and it hurts for a time but they will always be there rooting for you so dispite how much you miss them it's worth it. Look at your new place a thousand times when you come searching or you will end up cursing the fact you have no clue what to bring or where it will fit. But most of all, have fun and learn a thing or two, it doesn't help to get overly stressed out about anything, take collage seriously just don't kill yourself over one bad test grade.
