I was a young mother who struggled to live and gave up school to work two jobs, i would have to go back and tell myself and people like me to stick with it . School pays off in the long run and just look at were you will be in 10 years if you dont. I would have to say get help for school it is out there waiting for you , but most of all dont give up, it gets harder to learn as you get older , trust me i know. Just learn and grow , you will love it.

Since I waited to go to school when I was 26, I would tell myself to be more careful in my actions and get across to myself the dangers of some of the life I've lewad. That some things aren't good, no matter what I think at the time. I would strive to bring up how good life will be and could be, if I took better care of myself in several different ways.

The advice I would give to myself Is to never make the same mistakes twice. I say that becasue In high school I played around alot I didnt listen to the teacher I was the class clown. I see now that was a big mistake high school helps you prepare for the real life and real life is not a joke and it's not nothing to play around with. I would tell myself to get it together don't be the class clown sit down and listen. Pay attention to the teacher because they are only helping you prepare for your adult life something they already know about. I would also tell myself thati can do anything I put my mind to as long as i'm willing to learn there is always someone somewhere willing to teach me. Now i'am a 22yr old single mother getting my life together so I can provide a better life for me and my child. If I would of known then what i know now I would have done things a lot differently I can honestly say that I'm learning from my mistakes and I won't make them again.

I would tell myself to press through the tough times. No matter how hard a situation may seem, you can always make it through. I would also tell myself that education is extremely important. Once you stop attending college it is twice as hard to start again; just keep going and graduate on time. The last thing I would tell myself would be the importance of social activities. Sororities and clubs help you make life long friends, take advantage of every opportunity that comes your way.

my advice to myself woul be go directly in to college, do not pass go and get your butt back in school the next quarter after graduation!

I would advise myself to meet several times with my high school counselor and then with the college counselor to make sure my grades, interests and skills match the program of study I have chosen. Secondly, I would want to know who tutors and where the tutoring staff offices are so when I got behind or frustrated I could get the necessary help versus getting poor grades and giving up and dropping out of school. I performed much better in college when I lived at home because I wasn't as swayed by the social life so I would definitely recommend living at home for the first couple years at least.

i would say to myself to take risks. Be sure of myself . I would say to fight for what i believe and always give your best to everything. To not be afraid to ask for help or to ask questions. To be determined and have faith.

There are quite a few things that I would tell myself, but the most important thing I would like to stress it the need to learn to study. I have found as a college student that I was illprepared in this regard. I never had to study and I did not take school very seriously because it was easy. I wish that I could tell myself how important it is to work hard at school and to study and not slide by just because it is easy. I wish as well that I could work with myself on the procrastination habits that I have. I would tell myself to kick it into gear and be the best that I can be and not to be afraid to try and to not just sit idley and let the world pass me by. I would also tell myself to explore my options and not settle, that there are great things out there if I would only look. And finally I would tell myself to be filling out as many scholorships as I can because those loans are not fun.

Thinking back to when I was a senior in high school, I now can see all the mistakes I was maken. The most important piece of knowledge I have gained over the years is to listen to what your older generation is telling you. They've been there and probably know what they are talking about. I would also tell myself the same thing I am telling my children today; that to be your best you need to do your best. This means giving 100{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} everytime. If I could go back in time I would change the amount of time I spent finding reasons not to go to school and focus all that energy on focusing on school.

Wow your finally here! Your about to complete 12 years of school. Should you quit now? Besides you can still get a good job with your high school diploma. And you can stay with mom forever. After all she loves you and she doesn't want you to leave. And you dont want her to worry do you? No sweetheart. Keep going! Don't settle for a less. Set goals that are as big as your dreams and go for it. Don't stop here. Keep going! You have your whole life ahead of you so use it wisely. You are in a position that most people wish they could go back to. You dont have any bills, spouse or children to take care of. Don't go out there getting yourself in alot of debt using your parent income as a backup plan. Continue educating yourself. And I dont even want to hear that college is too expensive excuse. Financial aid is available as well as other scholarships for just about anything. So dont let it end when you walk across the stage. But let your future begin. One you and mom can be proud of.
