University of Phoenix-Online Campus Top Questions

What's the most frustrating thing about University of Phoenix-Online Campus?

Samantha

The most frustrating thing about my school and the turn around time for professors to answer your questions. I attend online school and sometimes I have questions about assignments that are due and the professor will answer my questions the day before the assignment is due. This causes me to have to ruch my assignments sometimes.

I would say how sometimes you cannot get into some assiagments and you have to call the tech support so I would say do not do any assiagments last min because It might freeze on you or the site could be down and you will not be able to turn in your assisgments.

jennifer

Doing the math classes they were very hard for me but with the help of people around me I was able to complete them.

Samone

The most frustrating thing about my school is trying to get in touch with the Financial Aid counselors. Another frustrating aspect is working with students who drop from the course, without any notice, which puts more on other students. Students who do not pull their weight is also frustrating.

Deborah

Because it is all online I simply do not want to talk on the phone to counselors if there is no issue but they must call every so often.

Belinda

The most frustrating part of the school is waiting to talk to a professoe, my school is all online so if the professor is not online to respond right away, you have to wait until they respond for an answer

Edith

The most frustrating thing about my school is that they are 2 hours behind and we have to have our assignments turned by midnight their time. This may cause problems for some students who don't realize what time it is when they post.

Mary

The most frustrating part is the fast paced. In the bachelor program each course is five weeks long. That is not a long time, and the work load does not lessen because of this time span, you have the same amount as you would in on campus college. There is also team work, when working on line this can be difficult since your classmates are in different cities or even states.

Marie

The fact that we must participate in team assignments even though this is a purely online campus. This creates multiple problems, the major being the difficulty in communicating with your teammates. Because all of us reside in different states and time zones, finding the time to meet and collaborate is a real hassle, especially since the majority of us have joined this school because our busy and hectic schedules did not allow for us to attend a conventional brick and mortar campus.

Ashley

The most frustrating thing about my school is that we do not get physical books. Our tuition covers the electronic books, but it makes it increasingly difficult when in the online classroom to answer questions without the use of a physical book. Students either have to use the PDF's they are given or get some version of an e-reader, or order the books themselves which costs out of pocket for the student. It is very frustrating.
