University of Phoenix-Online Campus Top Questions

What's the most frustrating thing about University of Phoenix-Online Campus?

Dawn

Inability to access the online campus. Being a full-time mother and wife, retired military member, and disabled veteran who works full time at the Veterans Administration my time is valuable. Schools should ensure they have the resources to prevent down time for students, especially when assignments are due. Additionally, the school library is a great resource when it works, when the system fails one finds articles he/she believes will relate to research only to find there is no link to the actual document. This has required that I obtain an account with Questia so I can research.

The most frustrating thing about my school is that, while I do appreciate the knowledge I gained working in teams, it can be frustrating when other team members do not pull his or her weight. If the school would cut down on team assignments and presentations, there would be less frustration.

The most frustrating thing about the UoP are the learning teams. While collaborating over assignments is an excellent opportunity to learn from others and build leadership skills, it can be extremely frustrating when other team members do not complete their work with the same standards I hold myself to.

The most frustrating thing about my school is the fact that I am completely responsible. The have susport systems, but I am completely responsible for when I study and enter the class room. I must meet certian requirements, and how I do that is dependent on me. It took some time to adjust to that much responsibility

Students are required to work in learning teams. Some classes put little emphasis on these projects, but some classes have team projects that make up the majority of your grade. Not all learning team participants are equally dedicated to completing the project. I prefer to be graded on my ability, not the ability of a team of people.
