There is always something social to do in Auburn. The University Program Council makes an effort to put on concerts and movies frequently. Also, if a student decides to join a Greek organization (fraternity or sorority) there are plenty of social activities to get involved in.

The most popular groups on campus are sororities, student gov't and sports teams. Football is a major part of Auburn. I am involved in Pi Beta Phi its a great way to meet life long friends. Athletic events, guest speakers, and theatre are very common and i have been to several event already this year. I have met my closest friends through my sorority, dorm and through orientation over the summer. Greek life is an important part of Auburn , but it is not necessary it does not make up a significant amount of the student body and many of my friends are not invoved in greek life. On a saturday night you can go see a movie, hang out with friends, go downtown and get coffee, go to a concert.

Auburn is a small town so not much is going on outside of what the campus is promoting. The few bars downtown are always busy and it always seems like the same thing every night you go out. Fraternities have big parties that usually just consist of other greek members but mostly during the Fall. The football and baseball teams are the most popular.

We used to leave our dorm rooms unlocked at night, but with a couple of rapes that happened last year, we started to lock it. The bars at Auburn are so much fun, and you can always run into people you know at every single bar. I feel that fraternities and sororities are getting less and less popular and don't mean as much as they used to. During freshman year, I felt that people partied all the time. As you get older though, your school gets harder and you can only go out on weekends.

The most popular is the greek system, college republicans/democrats, intramural sports, ROTC, Project Uplift, . I'm involved in the greek system and also other organizations. I really love it and i think that it is something that must fit you. It has many opportunities and activities to participate in. Yes my whole hall leaves their doors open. Athletic events, guest speakers, and theatre are al popular i have attended them all and still plan to. There are a lot of couples around campus. I met my closest friends through my sorority and my suite mates from freshman year. If i am awake at 2:00 i am either studying or downtown. People tend to party a lot. It's not all about frats and sororities but when your in the greek system and can seem that way. I went out with my friends and shopped downtown. You can go see a movie, go bowling, go downtown. I shop at tiger town, go bowling, go to the movies.

When I lived in the dorm I left my door open becauyse I was really close with everyone on my hall and that is where I met my closest friends. Athletic events are very popular especially football. Saturdays turn Auburn into a new world and EVERYONE LOVES IT!!! WAR EAGLE!!! If I am awake at 2am I am probably getting food. EVerything around here stays open pretty late but SURPRISINGLY the library is a pretty hoppin place at 2am also becuase it stays open 24hours. Fratiernities and Sororities do not even make up one fourth of the student body but a great thing about sororites here are that they hold the highest GPA of any student group on campus. Events that happen here each year that are amazing are tailgating on saturday, rolling toomers corner, the rodeo, O days, War Eagle Days, Tiger Nights, Greek Sing, Tiger Stomp, pep rallys, Greek week, Derby Days

Greek organizations appear to be the largest on campus, or at least the most present at the most events from what I have seen.

I think that greek life is a big part of Auburn. However, the people not involved in them are not looked down upon or treated any different.
Allison
Greek life is pretty big here

We always leave our doors open in the dorms. Everyone loves football and other sports. Rolling Toomer's Corner is probably the best known Auburn tradition. Greek like is definitely optional, but it is awesome!
