My experience so far has been alright, although it is hard to tell from only one semester. The extra curricular activities could be better, as I would love to get more involved in student life. Most of the teachers are great, although some are lackluster.

Louisiana State University-Shreveport is an amazing experience. Even though I reside in New Orleans, I am a virtual online student that feel as though I stay on the campus because my professors are extremely attentive and always available. I appreciate the flexibility of the program as being a full time employee because it allow me to still learn at my own pace. There is a huge variety of programs this school offer and the explanation is exceptional!

So far, so good, has been a great studying experience.

Denisha - 07/08/2019

Louisiana State University is a great school to attend. The teachers there really care about their students; they want their students to have a understanding of ever lesson that's taught. The teachers are always available to their students and reminding students of their office hours. Some teachers even recommend that we start study groups with our classmates to learn in small groups. I also love how Louisiana State University is diverse; every race, color, gender and those with disabilities go here. We all get alone well together and always discussing homework and tests outside the classroom. The first test of the semester is always the ice breaker for most students; after the first test we know what to expect on the other tests throughout the semester.

The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Louisiana State University-Shreveport is 88%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

If I could go back and talk to myself as a senior in high school, I would tell myself to never forget your family. They are the ones that supported you while you were growing up. Just because you are eightteen or nineteen years old now and you think you do not have tp answer to anybody, does not mean you can turn on your family. They love you and still want to see you. Besides that, they will be the ones there when no one else is. I would also tell myself to never ever live with your best friend. It may seem like a good idea to live with someone you know, but in the end you may come to hate each other. Last I would tell myself to have fun, but not too much fun. Too much fun can ruin your life. In college you will be faced with some decisions that can ruin your reputation and make you live with regrets for the rest of your life. Nobody wants that. And always remember to keep God first.

It is small, but not too small. Always places to study or relax without being overcrowded. It meets the needs of college students academically, but it is nothing too extravagant. The campus is small and easy to get around. Parking is easier than a lot of other colleges. It is not that expensive, but also not very conveinently located. No dorms.
